A Testament to Change.
A Testament to Change.

I am living proof that a restart is never too late—even if it came uninvited.

What some may call losses, I’ve come to recognize as necessary changes—not rooted in regret, but in release. These shifts haven’t erased places, people, or things—they’ve simply redefined my relationship to them. This reset of nouns has made space for new verbs—movement, building, creating—and adjectives that sharpen my perspective and cleanse my view.

Through these transitions, I’ve come to acknowledge the evolving nature of responsibility, duty, and the pursuit of happiness. Not as burdens, but as invitations. Though I’m still walking out this journey, I must admit—there’s an extra bounce in my step. A quiet joy that rises from within.

My academic accomplishments are not the final word on who I am or where I’m going. But they have awakened something in me—an empowered yes to the innovations, solutions, and discoveries I’m making for myself. This chapter is rooted in self-awareness, care, and love—not out of vanity, but out of pure, raw motives to see a brighter, fuller version of me emerge.

Truly Mine, to Yours:

Cynthia Reyes
